Ever since Honda rolled out their new laser cut high security keying system for ignition and door locks in all their cars in the early 2000s, there has emerged a consistent issue with complete failure of this system. A combination of normal wear and tear and weak materials in parts production creates this situation for all cars equipped with these locks. This known issue impacts both door and ignition locks and will cause complete failure resulting in the key to be un-usuable and unable to unlock the doors and/or start the car.

Our service includes a new key that will be programmed in addition to any other keys you may require and a 30 day warranty. If there are any issues with the repair you can call our dispatch line and we will resolve free of charge. Our warranty is void if an old key is used in the new ignition as this will cause undue wear on the new tumblers installed within the ignition.
